I like the lightness and airiness of this blanket. My 4 month old loves to pull the blanket over his face when he falls asleep in the car seat or stroller. This loose knit is perfect for him. We live in Miami where it's always warm but everywhere the air conditioning is set to iceberg degrees so we need blankets for him. I don't like polyester fabrics, mostly "fleece". disgusting. it makes him sweat, and this "super soft" plush blanket gave him a sweat rash. It is natural cotton and breathable. After washing in Dreft baby detergent, this blanket will naturally soften and fluff. This is the perfect size to put my son (20lbs) in a car seat or stroller.
