This is a great activity and fun for kids. They can use their hands and brains to build and their imaginations to play. this can be used alone or with multiple children. It's not difficult, but young children will need help, while older children, around 8 or 9 years old, could probably do it on their own. It is easy to disassemble, but it takes patience to put all the parts back in the box. I bought this set for my granddaughter as my son has the set and she loves it. Now she has her own to use at home whenever she wants.
