Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Hermitshell's Durable EVA Travel Case for Sony PlayStation 4 PS4 Pro Game Console with Wireless Move Motion Controller: Ultimate Protection and Portability by Heather Peacock

A tough case that gets the job done but forgets the needs of your wearer

If you're looking for a tough case to protect your PS4 (including the larger PS4 Pro), then this case is it for you as it is durable and sealed. Constructed from durable synthetic fabric and reinforced with a molded foam liner that keeps your components in place. However, while the main unit is well protected, the product is let down by shabby accessory compartments and uncomfortable straps and handles. While there's room for controllers, HDMI cables, and power cords alongside external hard drives and even PSVR components, the attached Velcro straps meant to hold items in place are too short to secure anything. Mesh (like a suitcase) to cover the assembled parts would help but is not part of the suitcase design. The straps and handles are also poorly thought out. PS4 (Pro or whatever) is a relatively heavy device. As it turned out on a recent trip abroad, I had to carry this thing quite a distance. The "shoulder pad included" is small and never stays in place, and even if it does, it's like a drink coaster, not a shoulder pad. This causes the nylon straps to dig into your shoulder. The bag's handle is also poorly designed, offering two bare nylon straps to hold the bag and no comfortable rubberized grip for better weight distribution. Suitcase that was not in stock at Revain at the time. But if I had a choice, I would always choose this solution, not the Hermitshell case.
