Review on Gamepad Sony DualSense, gray camouflage by Mateusz Burzyski ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I should have looked for better, I spent my money on a mediocre product.

I do not currently own a gaming PC or console, but I have it in my budget to get one in the coming year. In this sense, I decided to get a gamepad for the future that would be suitable for use with a PC as well as one of the consoles. In the meantime, I'm working on optimizing the built-in functionality of a Macbook equipped with an M1 and a laptop powered by a Ryzen 7 4700U as best I can. When playing on Windows using Steam, I was able to use a controller for the vast majority of the titles that I tested. It was only in Tomb Raider that I was able to check out the poppy. Due to the fact that it did not operate at all in the first two games in the trilogy, I had no choice but to use an outdated wired gamepad. However, it did function in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, despite the fact that the vibration feature is broken in that game and I was forced to disable it. Unfortunately, I do not yet have anything with which to evaluate the capabilities of this controller. Either I need to acquire a PS5 and the most recent games that support it, or I need to wait till PC titles are released that support the capabilities of this controller. However, there is a possibility that it will not take place very soon, if at all. After roughly one hundred hours of gameplay, or possibly even less, the triangle button started to become stuck. I found that I had to repeatedly press it in order to pick up goods in Horizon: Zero Dawn. Suddenly, it started to get significantly worse, and it also started to get more difficult to move. Tolerable so far, but for such a large sum of money, it cannot continue.

Pros
  • Feels good against the skin Connector Type C for Recharging Wireless Devices My customary configuration of sticks The presence of a battery
Cons
  • Even with the vibration set off and the backlight brightness turned down, the battery still discharges in a couple of evenings when playing the game. Poor compatibility with games designed for the Mac OS After one hundred hours of gameplay, the triangle button refused to work.
