Review on 🩳 Columbia Men's Permit II Shorts by Jay Huang

Great shorts for outdoor activities

Great shorts for outdoor activities. These shorts perform the same function as athletic shorts while still looking professional. I use them as shorts for hiking. They are good for the following reasons: 1) Not too long (with a 6 inch stride) - they don't get in the way on long strides/climbs 2) Very thin - they are very durable but weigh next to nothing 3) Synthetic - dries in few minutes 4) Elastic waistband - I don't need a belt 5) Comes in black - nobody can see how dirty it gets on long hikes I usually wear 34 with jeans/trousers and 34 fits me perfectly. Update January 2017 - I have run/backpacked over a thousand miles in these shorts in the last 9 months and they are just starting to wear out. The mesh in the thigh pockets is torn and the seat fabric is getting thinner/pulling. I can't believe they lasted this long. I've lost so much weight that my jeans waist has shrunk to 31 inches, but the elastic waistband of these shorts still fits me. I just can't carry anything heavier than a smartphone in it. I will buy a smaller pair to replace.
