I bought these as I am in the process of transitioning from a trackball to a wireless mouse. Past experience with wired and wireless mice has taught me that slippery, hard surfaces and mice don't get along very well. After ordering, a low voice asked if I had considered the vents under the laptop. OOPS! Contacted tech support and provided them with the information they needed including table size and tablet size. I asked if this could be a problem to which the answer was yes. Then I was offered to buy a cooler to solve this problem. This will be done as soon as possible. I have an old style wooden table with clear coat. Putting a pillow on it basically takes up 3/4 of the countertop. This was ordered on July 22nd, 2019 and I received it on July 25th, 2019. Packed and boxed, everything was in perfect condition. No dents, cracks, etc. After reading the reviews I opened the box as some reviews mentioned an odor that dissipates after a short time outdoors. I didn't feel the smell. At the moment the gasket is still in the box and will stay there until I get the cooler. However, I've found that the mouse pad isn't really needed, but I'll keep it just in case. Time will show the wear and service information.
