I initially purchased 2 of these items to increase the memory and speed of my desktop PC, from 16GB with 2 sticks of 8GB to 32GB with 2 sticks of 16GB. The product itself is great and I'm seeing improvements in my PC performance, but the speed of RAM chips isn't set in stone by the chip itself. The motherboard determines the speed of the RAM and determines at what frequency it can run at its maximum speed. I'll warn you right away: don't get your hopes up too high: the fact that according to the description the chip operates at a frequency of 3200 MHz does not mean that it will reach this speed after installation.
