The color changing properties of these shoes are amazing, although I've read that they do wear out over time but change almost instantly when exposed to sunlight! This is great and very bad because they are very wide! The roomy fit appears to be made for a reptilian foot, not a human child. My son has rather narrow feet but the loose fit of his old crocs was never a problem but I don't know if he can wear them to school and wear them on his feet all day. He didn't want to send them back because of the cool chameleon effect, but I'm disappointed that they made these shoes so far that they would be difficult to keep on the feet of someone who didn't go to clown school or something. other large shoe stores, but even these have a normal size insole. They would be such 5 stars if they weren't so broad and got a 2 (almost 3) for their super cool color changing ability.
