I had to replace my case because the hinge broke in two years :). Pros: The plastic case is made of decent material, and the weight and looks are on par when compared to the original case. If you have a cracked or damaged shell like mine, this is a good replacement. The new buttons and directional pad work well and the rubber pads are as good as the original. I haven't used screws since reading about problems in previous reviews, but screws that came from a broken Gameboy fit perfectly and are fine. Rubber tabs for screw holes, replaceable Nintendo logo and warning stickers are of good quality. It also came with two screwdrivers which were needed for everything which was nice. Cons: Replaceable screen protector sucks. I wiped some of the dust off with my shirt and fucking scraped it off. Don't worry about a replacement if your original screen is in good condition. There were no screen hinges in the kit so I had to forge the originals out of a broken Gameboy. Severe pain in the butt. Overall it worked well for what I needed it for, but only. If you only want to swap shells for cosmetic reasons, I wouldn't recommend it.
