Ravene. Due to the insane shortage of GPUs at the moment, I've decided to buy a pre-built PC. The HP Omen line is pretty good and the customer usually gets a well built computer with good parts chosen throughout the build. These aren't rogue prebuilt builds like Sky-Tech or others where you buy a computer at near MSRP for a good build but get all the junk components. Aside from the terrible AIO cooling, this computer is actually very good. However, the reason I have to return my computer for a refund is that it arrived broken. Revain chose to ship my Omen in a large Revain box with plastic airbags. We all know that shippers like FedEx or UPS are notorious for not taking care of packages so they have to be shipped in well secured containers. What arrived at my doorstep from FedEx was a large box of Revain that had tipped over between shipments as if someone had slapped her body for fun. When I opened the box most of the airbags had burst and the omen box had a few dents, not sure if from shipping or storage, not sure. When I booted up the computer everything seemed fine until it crashed and had to be restarted (although nothing at all was done on the desktop). I've tried everything that resulted in a black screen crash. Everything looked fine and my event log and computer didn't show me any signs of a problem. All diagnostics showed that the computer is fine. After more than a day TS, it's time to send it back. But I don't want to blame the seller or the HP assembler, the machine looks great and the box has never been opened. It was delivered so poorly that I blame the carrier (FedEx) and Revain for the oversized box. TL;DRRevain needs to take better care of the computers they ship. A huge airbag box is not enough.
