My dentist recommends water floss over standard floss, which surprised me a bit, but it's definitely easier. (In an ideal world, I'd probably do both, but I don't live in that world.) Like all this stuff, it's a bit noisy. Not a big deal in my opinion, and it's actually a little less loud and peppy than other waterpiks I've had. I only have a small area for this thing and it does a great job (doesn't run on its own). One minus point: the tank isn't big enough to get full front and back treatment. . Again, not a big deal, but if it could hold 2-3 ounces more without being too big that would be nice.
