I love these nose plugs - they are adjustable to fit different noses (after lending the plugs to other kayakers I found that not all ethnic groups have enough bridges to grab a noseplug in. In other words, it can slip right off flatter noses). I found that attaching a tie directly to the PFD didn't give me enough length. My trick uses a safety pin. I loop it and clip it to the collar of my shirt. This way the nose plug is easy to find when I need it and long enough to keep it from coming off my nose when I try to roll over.
