After numerous problems syncing my iPod to iTunes and getting constant error codes "File not found" or "Drive not found" on 3 different computers, this was enough for me. I know how popular iTunes is, famous iPhones and so on. The iPod is better made than the Sony mp3. I'm just incredibly lucky. The simplicity of this Sony MP3 player and the superior sound quality make it a top buy for me. I've read about some of the bugs Sony has and I'm sure Apple has its share of the fare. For me, the ease of syncing music instantly and without complications makes the Sony better value for money. The iPod had to be erased first and then resynced. Why? Sony is not obliged to do this! Also, the iPod could only be synced to one computer at a time. I think you're paying for this deal! The quality of the music is just fantastic. The guide could use some work, especially in the troubleshooting area. A little confusing. Hope it lasts longer than the iPod. Just take a look. UPDATE: So 30 days later and this is the MP3 player for me. The ease of adding songs quickly and without incident is a good thing. The sound is better than I expected.
