I bought these to go in a window for Christmas lights. I love that I can shape the wires (although they do tangle incredibly easily), but the remote control doesn't work! Also, they are incompatible with a smart plug- they need to be turned on and off manually. Also, each time you turn it back on, you have to cycle to the setting you want, because let me tell you, the flashing mode FLASHES. Rapidly.Also, the USB plug is very delicate and bent out of shape quite easily. They're only a month old and I'm not sure how much longer they'll last.I like the lights, but because of the ease of use and needing to reach behind furniture to get to the plug to turn on / off /to the correct setting each time, I regret this purchase.
