Not the best quality but not terrible either. In fact I am very impressed with the quality based on the price of these shades. The instructions were a bit confusing at first, but once we figured it out we were able to fit the blinds in about 5 minutes per window. Essentially, you simply screw two "holders" into the window frame (one screw per holder), slide the blinds into the holder, and then tighten another screw (per holder) to hold the blinds in place. It will probably be easier to have someone help with the installation - if only to hold the blinds in place while you do the final step - but I'm sure you can do it on your own if needed.
