Review on πŸ§— Men's Black Diamond Momentum Lace Climbing Shoe by Jay Williams

FITS PERFECTLY. How do I choose the right climbing shoes?

Such a beautiful, well-fitting shoe. Thanks to the 4.3 mm thick sole, they last longer than usual, of course depending on the intensity of use. I usually wear a US size 10.5 and just went for it and it fit me perfectly. There are usually too many far-fetched opinions about climbing shoes: one size smaller (typical for experienced climbers), too tight, one (or two) size bigger (typical for inexperienced climbers). I have been climbing for almost 25 years and I can tell you that I have never found a climbing shoe that fits as well as this one. How do I choose the right fit? Climbing shoes are snug-fitting, in other words, you can't stretch your toes in them (except your big toe... and barely), climbing shoes are snug-fitting because that's the goal, to ensure a firm grip on the toes. So what to do? If you usually wear shoes that fit you that are not loose or tight, choose the shoe size you normally wear. If your shoes are usually a little loose, go down one to one and a half sizes. If you usually wear tight shoes, keep the number you wear or go up half a size. I repeat, ALPINE BOOTS FIT HERE. If you like sport climbing, choose another shoe like Zone, Focus or even Shadow from Black Diamond. Performance will be better with sport climbing shoes than this one.
