I used this heat press machine to make some souvenirs for a church fundraiser. I used to use an iron to iron images onto bags and t-shirts, but this gave uneven images and resulted in wasting a lot of raw materials. In addition, the ergonomics are bad. After several frustrating attempts, I decided that if there was more demand, I could make more money by selling souvenirs at a slightly higher price. I use it with sublimation paper and ink. I chose this heat press machine for its safety feature. Side swings are necessary because they prevent accidents. It takes up more space due to the movement, but its small size should be okay. I also like that because of the LCD display, I don't have to check the time and temperature when using it. The handle also ensures even pressure. The conductivity of the matter is not bad, so the waiting time for the heating process is short. It takes a little practice to reduce errors with other items like cups and plates, but most results are acceptable. Having the right tools to make well-designed t-shirts and mugs is important in the long run. Do-it-yourself with students and children is fun.
