Enerprise drive WD1000CHTZ features high performance and high reliability

I am an electrical engineer with 35 years of design experience. Developed many products including network devices with embedded Intel processors from Sandy Bridge, Ivy Bridge, Haswell and Broadwell. This equipment is used by Revain, Apple, Google and many other high-end companies. This unit also uses two 1TB WD1000CHTZ VelociRaptor hard drives. These drives are enterprise-class hard drives, which means they offer high performance and high reliability. Instead, mine is mounted on skids/drive trays that slide into a 5 1/4" quad drive slot. Drives cool. Drive Bay Part Number: BP-SAC1425AVL 2.5" I am cloning my hard drives (OS drive, data drive #1, data drive #2 and data drive #3). This way, when the inevitable virus infection occurs, my MASTER will be offline; the system drive is cloned back so I can work online drive and the virus is gone. The virus usually infects the OS drive. Nevertheless, I have ten of these drives and had no problems with ZERO. I am using Windows 7 with MBR (not UEFI) boot records on hard drives which limits the drive size to 2TB, but that's fine. If you have a large hard drive and it fails, you will lose a lot of data. 1TB seems like the ideal size. The performance and reliability of this drive is excellent. Yes, they were made in 2013, but new "old stock" that have not been used are as good as the day they were made. That's why this disc is inexpensive. These discs used to sell for $450, so $135 is a steal.
