Review on Epson Workforce ES 500W II Smartphone by Corey Michaels

High speed scanner, a friend of mine has a Fujitsu ScanSnap Borrowed the IX500 and used it to digitize thousands of our old photo albums. This scanner was a dream come true and after having to return it we waited a bit and finally settled on this Epson ES500 as there were so many bad reviews for the newer Fujitsu IX1500. While this scanner is very good at scanning documents, it struggles with grayscale documents; gray scans appear too dark or just black. Another problem the scanner has with documents is that it cannot process documents with thicker tape or labels; He believes that two documents will be delivered to him and refuses to scan these pages. Also, this scanner CANNOT scan and process photos, unlike Fujitsu at its price point. It was such a big disappointment; When photos are scanned, colors and contrast do not appear correctly in the digitized file, which is very disappointing. Although I would keep the scanner because it is an amazing document scanner that helped me digitize about 100 copies of sheet music, a few notepads and other documents, I have to return them due to photo scanning issues.
