Kallak + 6 " DIY
I bought a Kallak bookcase from IKEA (about Β£45). As soon as I got home I realized I could have gone a bigger size ( 8 cubicles); Anyway, I decided to raise the one I had a bit and decided to add legs for the furniture. I have a table with the same "peg leg" so that seemed like a no-brainer be.They are very easy to install and come with screws and even a base stabilizer - I imagine they'd be more useful on flat surfaces..I used a small drill to drill through the hole without damaging the shelf. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase!Upon receipt, the legs were wrapped in bubble wrap, the coating can be sprayed on, for those who care.
