Review on High-Performance Magnum Thistle Feeder - Woodlink Model MAG2 by Ashley Slater

Revainrating 4 out of 5

NICE FOOD FOR TROPOT AND LOTS OF SEEDS IN IT! :-)

I really like that it's made of metal so it doesn't get torn by bird claws. I hope the birds see this as normal for their little feet and don't catch them. I'd rather have groupers around him and hop up and down the feeder. There were no perches, but hopefully that gives the producer a better idea! I just filled it out. Like ALL thistle eaters she lost some seeds but I was prepared for this, catching the fallen seeds and putting them back in the top feeder. The top is made a little cheaply so it looks like it won't last. I mean the metal fence above. It doesn't have amplification, but it might work fine. It was a little difficult for this little old lady to hold the lid of the feeder on top of the wire rim underneath, but she managed. I really hope the feeder will last for many seasons. The time will show. I like that it's durable and it seems the birds can easily pull out the thistle seeds. Cleaning shouldn't be a problem either. So I recommend it, although I've just released it, so I don't know if the birds will like it. If it works I'll buy another one. It's also an attractive feeder. I hang them under my roof to keep the damn squirrels away from the thistle eaters. I'm not sure what the "Transparency Factor" is, so I can't comment on that. If it works and is safe for tiny bird claws, I'll be thrilled!
