Modern fan with chain drive. Maybe the only one!

We had so many problems with the remotes and receivers that we decided to get rid of the other two ceiling fans and install them. Yes, chain hoists are old technology, but with all the hiccups and glitches and two rooms with no wall switches, they made life easier, not harder. They are very quiet and move a lot of air. We've added an extra foot of chain on each puff to bring them up to head height. We're so glad we made it! Most chain fans look too traditional but are very modern.

Pros

The reversible motor allows the fan to change direction from downdraft in summer, which helps cool the room, and to updraft in winter, circulating warm air under the ceiling.
