Very comfortable light pants, breathe well. It's a stretchy material, not as quiet as we'd like. They have enough space, they are not baggy, which is good, makes climbing and crossing fences easier. But the material will easily take a notch, more so than canvas or denim. Order by size if something is a little big in the waist. But I wouldn't wear them without a belt. I have dark gray and grey. I'm still looking for the perfect pair of hiking pants, but I really like them and they're under $50. I would recommend them overall.
