We bring this water everywhere we go. in the car, walk around the neighborhood, at the dog park, in restaurants, while hiking, and many more. I tried other ones but they were either too long or bulky and some leaked. With this particular one, the spout folds in when not in use; there's also a lock feature so it does not spill (TIP: just make sure that the little plastic pieces inside are properly aligned and always test it out before putting it in your purse), and you can put the unused water right back into the bottle. There is a carbon filter that I opted not to use since we use our filtered water anyway although it might be good for when you are out in public and your dog is in need of water.
