I used this for long exposures with my Sony A7Riv. I paid $39.99 which was a significant savings over a Sony branded bluetooth remote. After syncing it with my camera, it worked every time without having to re-sync, even if my camera was off for weeks. I wish there were more features like a joystick to move the focus without touching the camera (because the Sony A7Riv doesn't have focus bracketing) or a timer (because the Sony A7Riv doesn't show a timer in long exposure mode). But it does what it's supposed to and very well. If you're wondering if it makes sense to buy it instead of the branded Sony, I think it makes perfect sense!
