I wanted to use these monitors mainly for software development. So 1080p and 60Hz was enough for me. I also power them from my Dell XPS 15 9560. I am using a Dell wd15 dock that drives two displays and charges my device. The third display connects to the laptop's HDMI port. Pros - Nice panel, decent speakers, VESA mount! small frames on all 4 sides. Makes it a champion in any multi-monitor setup. Cons - The window management software sucks - causing my system to lag. Build quality is unreliable - the back goes into the case if you put pressure on the ports. No display port, no USB button nipple, standby lights! - so annoying. If you need a monitor, don't let the cons disappoint you. This is a great monitor with a really nice panel.
