I love my Addi Turbo needles! I've found that with bamboo, the yarn sometimes sags or frays slightly as the needles wear out. Plastic needles are good, but the point can become blunt. My metal Addi Turbos suit me because they are smooth, strong and feel good in the hands. I have several sizes in 40 inches that I use in a technique where I knit two socks at a time. I tend to knit very tight and even when I have tight knit and purl stitches Addi Turbos can still slip and lift the yarn I've read where others have said they are plain so that's what it is Yarn sometimes slips off the needles. If that is true, then I don't notice it because it's an advantage to have plain needles in order to be able to knit, if I cast on too tightly or knit too tightly with knit or purl rows, it predominates. When I need needles for future projects, I buy Addi Turbos first.
