They don't stay on the ankle or foot.

Although these socks are thick and soft, they don't seem to have an elastic band to hold the socks in place. I bought these for my kids and they slip and slide even under tight pants/jeans. They don't stay on their feet, but huddle together. They keep children's feet warm, but what's the point if they can't sit still?
