You have to slide the pole in the hole
You can't attach this to a public umbrella unless you can take the pole out of the holder and slide the inner ring on to the pole. If you leave, you have to undo it everytime.
- I have a big umbrella and it worked well to hang towels on to dry.
- The hooks may not be strong enough to hold wet items securely.
