I was looking for a way to protect my Rode NT1-A on the go as it only comes with a thin cloth case. I didn't want to pay the ridiculous price of a Pelican case as I don't have to put it on a plane or throw it in the ocean right now, so it was a fantastic alternative. I was able to fit an NT1-A and two SM58s into this particular case. It doesn't match the Rode damper (at least not with the mic) which is what I was originally hoping for, but that wasn't a deal breaker. to me. The plastic may seem a little flimsy, but the CaseMatix will definitely be one of my first options for protecting my gear until I need something really heavy.
