Need to buy an extra piece?!

My baby is due in June. I like getting everything in advance so I don't have to rummage around later. I have 2 extra beds from davinci for my other children and had no problems. However, we couldn't find a crib there for a newborn that we liked, so we found one in Suite Bebe. I ordered this railing but the bar that the railing sits on is not included. Also THIS IS IN THE FIRST PICTURE of this product. I paid $45.97 for this? Nowhere in the description is there a mention of a stabilizer or that it should be sold separately.
