This thing saves lives. My 18 month old hated brushing his teeth with just water like we did. It was a daily wrestling match to try and clean his teeth and his molars didn't get very clean while wrestling. With that first use, it opened up immediately, allowing us to brush each tooth very thoroughly and even learn to brush for ourselves (when we finished keeping his teeth completely clean). I love that it's made with xylitol and not sugar or syrup like some other baby tooth gels (much counterproductive?). The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is because the first time we opened the packaging and squeezed some gel onto our brush, the back of the tube ruptured and a jet of gel spattered back onto my carpet. A good amount was wasted on first use and we had to fix the hose with tape. With a higher quality tube that would be ideal.
