Best Trail Running Shoes

I'm a tall hiker, 6ft 2200lbs and mostly off road, over rocks and other debris. While not optimal for rock climbing (use heeled hiking boots), this shoe provides enough support and cushioning to be a reasonable replacement for hiking boots on a short hike. Trail where this shoe excels. Like a great trail runner, it offers good padding and support. It costs money. This is my second pair of La Sportiva shoes and both are excellent. For the true masters of trail running, this may seem heavy, but what's a few ounces for someone who weighs 200 pounds? The answer is nothing.
