I recently bought this Black Pebble style for my dad - he was using a 10 year old handbag I bought for him when I was in HS (let me gasp a little, unless it was literally falling apart at the seams). And before anyone jumps on me for buying such a cheap replacement, 1) it's very cheap itself and would probably throw away the gasket if I bought something expensive, and 2) I'm a little hesitant to buy online because it's hard to find say it is. I went straight to number 2 - despite the rave reviews, I got a Black Pebble wallet and it seems pretty cheap. First, there was lint all over the wallet with cheap cardboard/paper inserts that looked very cheap. Second, it's just a feeling. The hand feel just doesn't feel right. Even though it's supposed to be real leather, do the pebbles look more like styrofoam? Something about that felt wrong to me. I gave it to my father anyway because the money was about to fall out of his last wallet. Given how cheap it was I think I pretty much got what I paid for lol. I'll let him live with that wallet for now, and when I go shopping I'll look for a nicer wallet. At Amazon there are of course more expensive wallets, but here too there are unprecedented ones - and here it is clearly a matter of "hand feeling"!
