I was so disappointed in my spike finder because it took me so long to figure out where the spikes were. It was a good time. Then I took out my trusty drill and checked where the bolt seemed to be. My drill was often thrown out into the open and not into the wood. Aggravating. Especially if you're running metal wires for lights and outlets in your garage. The job took a lot longer than I expected as my spike finder I bought 3 years ago wasn't accurate enough. It also received high marks on Revain. So I bought it and used it many times. But now I've finally given up and decided to try another one. I'm so glad I did. I immediately started using the Franklin sensor in my garage. I needed to hang a 4 foot bracket on a wall that has a lot of hooks. It was very easy to use. I found the studs immediately and the job was done in minutes. I really regret not buying my new spike finder sooner. My other work to do would be much easier. But now I am very happy with my new purchase and look forward to using it without much hesitation. In fact, I hope that I still have a lot of work to do where I have to find one or the other stallion. It won't be difficult. I highly recommend it.
