I bought a chocolate fringe for the bone shaman costume and bone staff and it completely changed the whole look! I liked how it hangs straight and neat on my staff and mask. It wasn't too shiny either, but it wasn't completely matte either. While it didn't seem too heavy or obstruct my vision, it was as thick as the mask's veil, casting a mysterious shadow over my face. I don't know how it would work for embroidering accessories or clothing, but for a bone collector's ritual atmosphere, it worked perfectly.
