Review on ❄️ Supco SH250 Drain Heater: Eliminate Clogs and Prevent Freezing by Sean Davis

I have a condensate drain freezing problem on a SubZero (BI-36) Onboard Condenser. A very small frozen drain line can cause condensation to collect in the refrigerator compartment. Luckily the BI-36 has 120VAC for an internal air filter fan that can be wired along with this drain heater to prevent ice from forming in the drain. This completely solved the 2-3 year old freezer drain problem that plagued these refrigerators, especially in high humidity conditions. Bad Sub-Zero design for a $10,000 fridge was solved with a $15 part.
