Purchased this board at the behest of my 5-year-old grandson. He actually chose the board he wanted. (It HAD to be blue!) He is absolutely delighted, as are his grandfather and I; his parents, not so much.accidents inevitable in their minds! My 9-year-old, skateboard-experienced granddaughter demonstrated the board to the grandson and how to do simple maneuvers without any possibility of accidents. She is a great skateboarder! She loved the board, especially the non-skid surface and wide foot bed. Pray that the 5-year-old doesn't get hurt, because his parents will be angry with me for the gift! I suggested he hang it on his wall until he gets a little more "coordinated."
