This is a technical device and should be treated with some caution and technical care. It's a hard plastic that breaks easily (brittle) at the edges, requiring hand-eye coordination and inventive editing that doesn't try to handle the weight of the backdrop, for example. pins or staples. I take product photos for my online business and have been using the current photo for 3 years. I replace it with the same one because there are several comparable offers. I like this background for its durability. I take a wide range of product photos, from cast iron pans to delicate linens, so being able to clean them is important. ArmorAll Cleaner quickly tackles greasy stains and PVC has adequate scratch resistance. However I am replacing it now because after 3 years and thousands of products (and hundreds of cleanings!) it is no longer serviceable. But it's so affordable. This *requires* an assembly that doesn't stress the edge and requires "unrolling". Initially I followed the instructions to spin backwards and it worked fine. I later discovered that a light application of a homemade hair dryer works wonders to relieve any tension (don't overheat!). I'll probably try this method to gently warm up and loosen up (twist up) my new hairdo. Wow, I just realized I would spend about $10 a year on my photography background. The business needs it. There are 5 stars all day! -GSaleHunter
