Both my 1 and 5 year old kids love these socks! 3 shoes at once. They were a bit big as expected but you could wear them. She is now 19 months old and wears size 6 shoes which fit well, have room to grow and can withstand frequent washing. They hold up well but aren't too tight on her thick legs. They go well with most of her clothes and although she likes to take off her socks, these are a real challenge for her. She *can* take them off, but it takes enough time and grunts for me to be warned before she gets far. Time. He's tall for his age and has big feet so this was the right choice for him. Now he wears size 13-1 shoes and size 7 dresses and the socks still fit perfectly. These are his favorite socks and he usually wears them all before deciding on another option. The handles are perfect for a 5 year old walking around the house or a toddler who carried them while learning to walk. It's very hard to find plus size grippy socks which is why I stumbled across them in the first place. Not only are they big enough for my big baby, they are well made and fun. So far we haven't seen any signs of wear on them, but I'll happily buy them again if they do.
