Reliable and simple
Product works well. I've used it to control devices that send and receive RS-232 through a 3.5mm jack. Allows you to quickly change the output for troubleshooting. The only thing to note is the extra space it takes up, as opposed to simply soldering on a 3.5mm plug. If there are other ports nearby that need to be plugged in, this can be a problem.
