Very easy to use. 1) Screw in the NVMe SSD. 2) insert into the PCI-E slot. 3) boot up and everything works! No driver installation required. Used with Samsung 960 EVO 500GB SSD and PCI-E 3.0 x8 slot. The speed is as fast as if the drive were connected to an NVMe slot. Their speed depends on the PCIE version and the number of lanes allocated by the chipset/motherboard/slot. It has a small activity indicator on the back.
