Before I bought this I thought it was one of the many unnecessary accessories sold for flying drones. With the Mavic Mini, however, it becomes more of a necessity. The Mini has no ground clearance, so it's very comfortable. The Mini's gimbal is quite fragile, so the less it touches the better. This will prevent the gimbal from hitting rocks or weeds when landing. It also does an excellent job of protecting the stabilizer bar and engines from dust. If you have a Mavic Mini, then it should definitely be on your shopping list.
