Review on 🚗 CACACOL Car Charger Quick Charge 3.0 Dual USB 36W 7.2Amps: 12V/24V Parallel Working Suit for Car Cigarette Lighter by Joe Stax

Not much to say. Mine arrived yesterday. I plugged it into my car, the little red light inside came on (so I could tell it was properly installed and turned on) and then I plugged in my iPhone 3GS and I just got a message on the 3GS: Charge with it Accessory is not supported" I tested both ports and got the same error on both ports. I wrote the manufacturer a polite but wise email about this and now I'll see what they say. I've got this only bought it because it had a good reputation here and because it claims to work correctly with apple devices well it doesn't I'm totally disappointed UPDATE (6/2/2013) Well in a weird and unexpected twist I got it I tried this thing out in my neighbor's '07 Civic and it works great charging my iPhone 3GS from any USB port Confused, I pulled it out and put it back in _my_ car (2002 Mitsubishi Ecli pse GS) and again I got the same iPhone crash message as before, regardless Which of the two USB ports on this adapter did I use? tried to use. So, ladies and gentlemen. It works fine on some computers and not on others. Given that the little red light in this thing lit up when connected to both the Civic and Eclipse, I have no idea what to do about it. I guess it's possible that the cigarette lighter socket on the Eclipse just doesn't provide enough amp to keep the iPhone happy, but that doesn't seem like a very plausible explanation to me, so I'll take it up with the manufacturer. Monday and I'll post here if I find anything out. I've now upped my score to two runs because it seems to _work_ on some cars. just not mine. :-(UPDATE 6/12/2013 Well I emailed the company to the only contact email address I could find on their website. They do NOT list a contact phone number. And they have NEVER deigned to to send me ONE reply. Not even "Get out of here!" So on a scale of 1 to 10, I'll give this manufacturer -5 (minus five) for customer service. (I get better customer service than this for my AT&T GoPhone!) to a star of - due to lack of PowerMax support. That aside I can now report more results. (model DU20) and in a somewhat unexpected twist it also worked well in my neighbor's 2007 Civic LX but *also* generated the error message i already described when i tried to use it in my 2002 eclipse wow what usb/lighter adapter do you get i was angry of course so i even brought the car, phone and both chargers to the local hen Mitsubishi dealer and asked the main service technician if he knew anything about this particular problem. Well he didn't. He had never dealt with this problem before. I jokingly asked him if he had any other Mitsubishi cars we could try it on. (There were a lot of them around.) So he jumped into the nearest Lancer. I don't know what year, but recently, and indeed, both chargers worked fine with the iPhone in this one. So I think whatever this problem is, it's limited to old eclipses and iPhones only. If I ever get to borrow someone's iPad or iPod I'll try those too and see what happens, but so far I've had absolutely no way of charging my iPhone 3GS (iOS 6.1.3) in my Eclipse. I'm confused. :-(
