I have extremly thin straight hair - Not a whole lot there to work with for an elegant up-do. The Hair Bun Extensions were Perfect! Easy to use and style myself, the hardest part is picking the color match (I went with Golden Blonde with Highlights). I used both pieces the small one first and the larger one layered over it & blended my own sad little bun in, secured it with bobbie pins. I received so many compliments on my hair at my Son's wedding (which was rainy & humid- so again a lifesaver in terms of adding volume & keeping the allusion of curl for my type of hair!) We danced the night away, the pieces stayed in place and was completely comfortable & natural - only my closest friends/family guessed I had a little "hair help".
