I'd like to start this review by saying that the folks at Viking Revolution are some of the most thoughtful in all of Revain. They contacted me before my product was launched to connect with their clientele which means they really care about what they do. So the product is good! The packaging is nice and even has a nice little how-to page with links to websites for applying beard oil/beard balm (I like to alternate them so I bought both). You use an eyedropper, which is fairly standard with most beard oil products and makes it easy to measure how much you want to apply. as strong and "wooden" as I'd like to see. I know another review said it looked like "rotten sandalwood" but I wouldn't go that far. A hint of sandalwood can be seen, but nothing more. The product is not greasy and softens the hair well (and thus prevents dandruff on the neck). But the disappointing scent was, well... disappointing. All in all, if you just need beard oil to get you started, this would be a great way to go. But if you're expecting a luxurious scent, you might be a bit disappointed.
