Review on European Investment Fund by Umar Musa

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The European investment fund provide support to European SMEs that are in need of financial assistance

The European Investment Fund, located in Luxembourg, was formed in 1994 as a European Union body for the provision of credit to SMEs. It does not lend money to SMEs directly; instead, it works with commercial banks and funds to offer funding. The EIF, as it is commonly called, provides financial assistance to small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs). To achieve this, they create, develop, and deploy equity and debt financial solutions that are tailored to SMEs. Its primary business activities are venture capital and loan guarantees. The European Investment Bank, the European Union, as represented by the European Commission, and 30 privately held EU investment firms are among the bank's owners. I can't overlook the need to mention the year of establishment; 1994 appears to be a long time of offering high-quality financial support to aspiring small and medium-sized businesses.

That's all I have to say about this business; stay tuned for my future review!

Pros
  • European investment fund is one of the best investment companies you can find
  • The company has a good website which makes it very easy to access and navigate
Cons
  • The fact that it is open to only European SMEs is not a nice idea
