This lovely skirt is well made and fits true to size. It is important to note that this skirt does not stretch and fits around the waist at the level of the navel. If you want the skirt to hit below your navel, I definitely recommend getting a skirt that's one size larger than you would normally wear in a stretchy skirt. I bought this in a small not realizing there is no stretch and luckily it fits! I'm 5'6", waist 27.5" and weigh about 147 pounds. I usually wear small to medium skirts and pants/jeans a size 6 or 28. This is a really lovely skirt!
