I loved this sun protection shirt for my six year old who loves spending hours in our pool. I especially like the hood, so that your neck and ears are protected. He wears this with a life jacket over it for safety and it was awesome. Its bright blue color makes it easy to spot from afar. After 3 weeks of wearing, the stitching along the entire underside had torn and started to unravel. The stitching on his right arm that opened at the arm also began to unravel. I tied and knotted them both as best I could to prevent unraveling. Let's see if it will be a few more weeks before we close the swimming pool, then this shirt will probably end up in the garbage in 6 weeks. I would also say, while being able to slip your thumb through the hole in the sleeve to hold the sleeves in place is a good idea, the sleeves are too short for that.
