I have been using Mikrotik for a long time and this unit has never let me down! I bought it because I know how to use them, I've used them many times and they do exactly what I need, it's also a very flexible network operating system (RouterOS). Now the bad news: if you're not knowledgeable about networking, if you're not at all interested in the command line, if you don't like looking up answers to your questions on internet forums and wikis, if you want some IT pros in your area have yours supports new Mikrotik then I think this is not the gear you are looking for! Good news: you can always read up on the network, once you get started you're one of the few IT pros around who knows about it (actually I honestly don't know, you see a lot from Mikrotik) can Ask (and answer) any question in the amazing user forum and you'll have amazing hardware that's as flexible as you can get for its price and size. , you can do whatever you want with it (network related of course). More good news for people who don't care about networks. in general: it works out of the box! It comes with a predefined configuration that's pretty much the same as any other WiFi router you can buy on the market, and it also has a web interface to set up your WiFi password and more. To be honest I don't know why people buy Linksys for #$ty $150 when you can buy this beauty for half the price and get the same Linksys features for 10 times the price! Enjoy it if you bought it, buy it if you need good home wireless gear!
